does it copy?
i assume things are in queue either because it is "not ready to print" (fuser not up to temp, toner not stirred) or because there is a "send job now" setting that is not checked.
you don't think it is set to use department codes, and not print without one?
or one of those "secure print" options GOD I HATE THAT FEATURE, people turn it on accidently all the time
it wants to be sure sender is standing in front of copier, entering a code.
imagine if you were an attorney (or just had delusions of grandeur)
