Need substrate advice ?

I am redoing an outdoor sign that is 16'w x 8' tall. My experience with different types of substrates is very limited. I will be covering with cast vinyl (lam). I need a substrate that can withstand the winds, heat, etc.... Definitely looking for this to last, what is your advice on type of substrate i should use ?

what will be supporting the sign?
IE existing frame? wall mounted? free standing?

Thanks for the reply - currently there is 4 - 4x4's and several 2x4's as crossmembers to attach the new substrate.

Aluma-lite or similar.
6 mil DiBond or similar.

If you're leaving the existing sign in place 3mm Dibond
