We had some, too, but it was the following weekend and from a different era.
The first one is the Flying Fortress, the next a Jap Zero and the last was the most moving of all. That formation represented a squadron and as they came into view, Taps was played over the loud speakers and everyone..... and I mean everyone stopped talking, moving or anything, put their hats or hands over their hearts in memory of the lone plane representing those who never made it back to their squadron. A truly great tribute.
