We have an exterior style one with fold out legs that goes something like 16' high, and that is the look on your face when you're on the ground cranking the winch, watching the whole thing rock as you're trying to crank smoothly.J Burton, the look on that guys face...
I get that part, but what actually? If the sign is too big / too heavy for one person, ya get a helper. Seems like hauling around a big bulky heavy machine is more work than it's worth. For real heavy signs indoors, I go with a scissor lift.Holding a sign in place while you do installation, adhering/sticking, etc.
I used to dream of a CNC rigged to a boom, the idea was to float the CNC on its side to the sign area, then execute a program to drill all of the mounting holes...
did you see the guy that used meta VR to drill a pattern? i thought that was cool, but it took him a long time to get the pattern flat to the wall.. he lost me there.I used to dream of a CNC rigged to a boom, the idea was to float the CNC on its side to the sign area, then execute a program to drill all of the mounting holes...
Some folks just want to make things easier/more complicated.
Actually there is a time limit. Not sure what it is, but Stacey figured it out a while back. She tried to go back about a week, or maybe it was just a few days but she couldn't edit her post.Netsol - we can go back and "edit" our posts at any time. There is no time limit as far as I know.
You got a link? That sounds... hot as hell right now.did you see the guy that used meta VR to drill a pattern? i thought that was cool, but it took him a long time to get the pattern flat to the wall.. he lost me there.
