New Profile Needed For Old Roland SC-500 Printer

Hi All,

I've just bought an old Roland SC-500 printer and need some help setting up a really good profile for printing full-color pictures.

Any and all suggestions are welcome (I'm new so I need them).

I've got Flexi to use for my RIP, print on glossy intermediate inkjet vinyl and the printer uses 6 colors of "true solvent" ink from a company called Lyson.

Does anyone else out there use this printer with Flexi?

Thanks for your time!

I'm one step below you with a Roland CJ-500 Aqueous Ink Printer . . .

I'm sure the profiles would be very different.

Welcome from NY. I use the Roland SC-500 with the heat added to it. I'm not sure of the inks your using. I use roland Eco Sol inks. They work great. I have some profiles and i also use Flexi as a rip right now. I'm looking at getting wasatch and a specktrometer to make my own profiles. let me know if i can be of some help to you.
