Go Bills!
I made these enter and exit signs about 10 years ago. Originally when I was contacted by the customer he said that his enter and exit signs get run over all the time.
I used a 5" steel pipe, sank it in the ground a good 4' and filled the post with concrete.
A few weeks ago he called me to tell me someone hit the sign. I expected the worst. When I got there I found that the pole was intact and the faces were fine, they had just fallen off.
The trim cap was pretty much wasted from the UV exposure. I re-trimmed the faces and repainted the boxes and posts.
They still light up.
