the Pantone color of the year seems to be one that is close to a very over used green we've had around for years think TD bank for one

they make new colors every year & promote the hell out of them so you have to buy a new swatch book every year. they would never make pms185c red color of the year, no $$$$ in that!

Here is what Ive always heard. the best, newest, IN colors are from the fashion world. thats leads, of course to interior design and then to paint stores and boom boom there we go!

We had a guy from Jersey named Mike opening a business and insisted on a certain neon greenish color for all his signs. We printed several swatches and once he picked "the one".we added it to our color palette as "Jersey Mike Green"
