photo scan

i am trying to print a photo from a 5x7 pic..i scan at 1200 dpi from flexi, tehn take into ps as a tiff. i tehn used blowup and increased the dpi from 72 to 150. the test print looks much more blurry than the original? any tips? unsharp mask, etc.. thanks brett

the scan looked good..didn't do anything else. scanned at 600 , saved at 300. printing now..i'll let ya know.

Scan at 300 dpi at the final size you want. if you want a 4 x 5 to be 8 x 10 Scan at 300 dpi and set your Percentage at 200 percent.


Actual size wanted by 300dpi.
