Photoprint 5 - loses defaults?

Hi guys,
Maybe someone can tell me why I have had this happen for the second time in 6 months. Today I boot up the computer and start Photoprint and it is asking me what kind of equipment I have. It seems to forget what I have. Now along with that it loses all my preferences for both the Mimaki printer and the Summa plotter. Anyone ever have this happen or anyone know why it is doing this for the second time?
