photoshop printing

So, how do you each print from photoshop to versaworks dual? I was able to do so for a long time, but after some windows updates, I have lost the ability to get the file over to my rip. I have two Roland printers. An XR640 and VG540. I lost the 640 first and then after some time I lost the 540. They are shown in the printers dialog box, but when they are chosen, the file does not end up in my rip. Any ideas?

Save the file as tiff or what ever and open in VW?
I always disable the virtual printers.

I usually save as a .PDF and drag it into VersaWorks to print from there.

You cannot print directly to the printers from Photoshop, you have to print from the Versaworks. I suspect your were sending files to a hot folder in Versaworks previously, and that link was messed up by a Windows update.
