Does anyone know how to instert characters or symbols in Photoshop CS3. I need to use the e with the ' over top of it. Please help. I can do this in Flexi but I don't want to have to do that then import it in to photoshop.

To my knowledge you can't do it in photoshop, maybee you could use the character map,I never use that.It's too easy to cut & paste or import

You should be able to do it with the alt+1234 combinations:

I don't know how comprehensive it is, but if you can't find what you need, you can search for more combos.

alt keys work in Photoshop è and é

first is Alt+0232

second is Alt+0233

In Illustrator there is a tab called "glyphs". In some OTF Opentype fonts there are in some cases over 100 characters designed into a font that you CANNOT access through alt keys or the character map

I had a job the other day where I had to type out some letters in Russian. The OTF Arial Bold font has the built in Russian characters. Attached are some of the many odds/ends that can be found in the font glyphs

I think Arial has several hundred extra characters

And Bickham script,"one of my favorites" has hundreds of alt. characters you would never know about without the glyph pallet
