Plotter Problems Please Help

I recently hooked back up my Vinyl Master 30. I know i need a new machine and will be getting one in october.... but... when i cut it is moving letters around even rotating some. It is totally shifting the graphic to two different places. one letter will be cut perfectly like one 6 inches above where it should be and missing some letters and making weird angle cuts Is there any way to calibrate this machine? Or why is it doing this? please respond as soon as possible. im running flexi 7.5 pro. thank you in advance.

the manual they gave me is like 10 pages long . with nothing referring to emulation. doesnt emulation have to do with color profiles? im kinda new to the techhnical talk...
