polyurethane over solvent print?

Have a customer who want's a decal (of hp 9000 eco solvent ) put on this card table then he's going to Polyurethane over it.

what would the best material to use?

I have mainly Oracal vinyl (3640, 3551, 3951, 3651)
and oracal laminates (210, 290)

please any help.

Once he poly coats it.... it probably won't matter what combination you use, so I'd probably use the one that yields the best printing and viewing results. His clearcoats are only gonna heighten your print.
 
I researched this for another project but nothing ever came of it. According to the rep I spoke with paper is the substrate of choice. He didn't say vinyl wouldn't work but that the paper and polyurethane would have stronger adhesion than vinyl and polyurethane.

Laminating probably isn't necessary but you may want to try some the polyurethane on a printed scrap and see how it behaves.
