Pre Coloured Exterior Substrates available in thicker options

Hello, we recently purchased a new (4' x 8') Flatbed Printer and 5' x 10' Flatbed Cutter. We love it for doing our 3 dimensional work. When we're creating exterior signs, we want to build depth using an exterior products like PVC (sintra or intracell), the problem is the side wall (core) colour is white. We're not set up in our shop properly to paint (and would prefer not to paint).

Are there sources and options in Canada for pre coloured (exterior) substrates thicker than 3mm or 6mm. 3/4", 1", 2" is most preferred.

Really, it's just black & white available in the thicker materials, or go to foam to paint easier.
Ran into the same "setback" when we got up & going originally. Just think up another way to complete the project or rethink the plan.

Clear acrylic is a pretty neutral edge color. Otherwise they sell acrylic in colors.
What color are you after for the edges?

I can't believe this. I just got a call for a PVC 2" thick sign. The last one made here was about 3 years ago. I always try and talk them into redwood or cedar. Nothing doing. This lady was told how wonderful this new plastic stuff is and that's what she wants, sooo...... PVC it is. We'll start with white and paint it the color she wants. We made a different sign for her back in 2009, so I know I'll be getting it.

I swear they "used to" offer PVC in a rainbow of colours (for 3 and 6mm)...I was really hoping someone would say "they do, look here..." We'd rather not paint (brush or spray)...it's messy, and our shop isn't set up for it properly...wish I had a booth and enough demand painted applications. thanks for the help

Many of them have various colors in the different products, but seems no one wants to stock it like years ago. It was only available in 3 & 6mm

That's some confidence. If I get an order from a customer from that long ago, I figure the shop they've been using burned them more than they thought I did. Or they got a new marketing director.

It's a city run program and we do many signs for our city, but since then, practically all the people have changed or moved on. This is a new lady and she couldn't believe she found us. Over 40 some years, we've been doing signs for our city and they keep coming back. We must be doing something right. It's for an over 100 hundred year historical site and they want us to do it. That makes me feel really good.
