I guess so. I'd pop the mirrors right off. One thing about the jeep crowd, you likely could just probably ask them to remove the mirrors and they'd be excited to do it for you, they love tinkering with aftermarket bs. Jeep's are good to learn on because they are so dang straight forward. Just don't take the strap loose that keeps the door/mirror from hitting the hood/fender unless you're pulling the doors.
