How do you price cut vinyl? I know a lot of companies charge by the height and the amount of letters while others price based on sq ft. What are the pros and cons of each one and do you charge for waste?

Is there a program you can use to calculate the number of picks?

For me ,i use my Vinyl Calc to see what a design will cost including transtape if i need to. I have an extended version in the same spreadsheet for doing Siser HTV.Other than that i come up with a cost im happy with as long as im giving a better value than a big boy shop..

I wonder how they came up with a selling price of $23.95 for the guide.
At 0.5 lbs shipping weight that's almost $12.00 a pound. Or is that almost $48 per lbs? I can never remember....
