Need Help Printer isn't supported on onyx21 RIPcenter

Hey guys
I need a bit of help trying to get my printer to print without a rip or a software that's cheap

I have a roland sj-640 ex and I'm using Onyx21 Ripcenter
I had the license key sent from onyx America
And they didn't take into account that I have an sj-640
So now that I spent $1800 on a licence key that doesn't support my printer

I can't afford to pay the extra $900 to add the printer to the key
Is there a cheaper or easier option?

Did you use the Onyx download manager? The SJ-640EX is supported. You should speak to Onyx if you are having difficulty.

It's optional for ripcenter but how did this happen?? If it's their fault refuse the payment and let them take care of it.

Just download your printer model from the download centre.

The RIP just need a printer licence for the amount of printers you're running.
You install your printers yourself.

Why are you disagreeing with me? I use onyx from x10 to now x21
Have changed printer licenses a few times.

the rip will support up to as many printers as it’s allocated.
You install the printer OML file or PRNTST file (I forget which one it was)

I just did it for when my Colorado arrives.

Just read what it says about the SJ driver in the post by Bert. It's not included in Ripcenter without Advantage. So it's optional.

So if OP ordered the RIP for this exact model it's Onyxs fault. If not... It someones fault.

would have though you’d get 1 year silver advantage with the purchase. No?
