how can that be?
my stratasys bst 1200 clogs & you clear the printhead, very gently, with a 1/16" drill bit
Completely different technology.

Did you know HP uses 3D parts made with those printers in their printers?
Not a lot, I suppose more in testing and places that are not very sensitive.

it's a great technology for "one of a kind" & prototyping

also producing parts after original stock is gone

we have a roland mdx-15 with a scanning head and milling head.
very handy for duplicating a small part if plastic or brass will work
aluminum, not so much
