Printing barber pole seamles decal

Hello All,

I just got an order to do a wrap on a 2.375" diameter steel pole with Barber pole texture "red/white/blue slanted stripe...
I am stunned lol, I never thought this would be so challenging... it seems so simple but I just can not figure it out..
Is there a formula to the angle (slant) factor ? has anyone done that ?
any help would be appreciate...

I don't know what the specs are on barber pole patterns (I have more hair in my ears than on top of my head at this stage of my life).
Print this pattern out without rescaling and you should get 1"red bars at a 30degree slant with a 1"void, seamless(more or less) on a 2.375" diameter pole (seems small - maybe should be 2.375 radius instead?).
Print it out on a desktop inkjet or laser and roll it to see if the diameter is correct.
Pattern could be too tight for a long pole (might need thicker bars and voids).

Ended up outsourcing... it was too hard to do at a short notice, it was a very tricky job...
