hi;
is there any help?

My roland has al 18 months, I use three-month refill ink InkMate (Korea) I had no problems prior to 20 days, which worries me every day of the test print looks different in magenta and black remain on the two nozzles moved, some to improve and return to bad. is it possible to repair or needed a new head? I was cleaning, change Dumper magenta, black / cyan captop, gently in the syringe head (through the line for the color), suck Syringe, sank three nights, maybe ultrasound to try? The manual cleaning of the head give the same test result, but when I do medium or full cleaning, they are worse?
if anyone has an idea, thanks!

you can try this. i've had two to four misdirected lines on my black head for a long time. didn't worry much, did repeated soakes, etc. but it no luck. the other day i was working on the printer and needed to wash the heads because it would be turned off for however long it took (which took the weekend because of interruptions).

in the pic attached you can see a single clear 220 cartridge on the left with a t-fitting manifold running to the cmyk heads (2). it's been running cleaning fluid for the last two days doing it's normal cleaning cycles (i was amazed at how much waste ink/solution can be used from a single 220 over two days). well now the black is finally perfect! i've got shut off valves on my lines. but you could pull a damper and carefully fit pump tube onto the head adapters. be careful that you have evacuated the fluid before removing to prevent fluid from leaking onto the print head boards.

from now on when i have a pesky clog. this will be the first thing to do instead of a soak. works much better.

thanks Artbot..good idea!!!
1...clean operaton to do from the panel or service mode?
2...Can solvent liquid to put in two 220ml refill cartridges, the other two close to the original flap comes with the machine, would you do? I think I have a problem with this connecting tube as well as in your example? ..

Thanks for quick response

1... just the routine cleaning cycles that solvent printers do every few hours. i guess you make the printer run head cleaning cycles. but letting the ink absorb solvent for an hour, then purge, etc. several times would be more effective.

2... to make the cleaning cartridge: hardware stores carry these common nylon fittings. call ahead and ask if they carry 1/8" nylon tee's. at most stores, it's the smallest size (the tubes on it are similar to the size of pump tube) is available. . with pump tube arrange them in a series as the pic shows. just cap the end off with either a small nail or a vacuum hose cap. the cartridge has a small brass tube plunged into it. carry a piece of pump tube with you when building this so you can make sure the brass tube and pump tube fill well. it takes a lot of force to penetrate the cartridge with the larger than usual brass tube.

Many thanks artbot for the detailed explanation.

hi
8 days irrigation head but does not improve things and cleaned nozzles that are thrown away.
helped immersion cleaning and ultra sound, the other is a nozzle that throws away, now I have one black and one red before. can not understand that the roland sp540v failed to reduce the huge impact on the press due to a small congestion of a nozzle? I heard that Mutoh has a software print solution for overcoming banding, in the form of waves, thereby reducing the deficiencies in the press?
Which color you use to refill sp540v, is it possible to buy roland eco sol max E of 130 cheaper for 440ml, if you have any information on reducing printing costs for sp540v roland eco sol max?
Thanks,
Abbott, I think your idea has a lot of sense, I think the conduct in the near future for maintaining the equipment, care, whether to buy original cartridges for cleaning of 220ml for Roland, I think the cleaning liquid by roland sales for manual cleaning of different of fluid which is to penetrate through the printhead itself. head of the Epson sp540v Dx4.
Thanks, ..
