Problems printing convex material

I am having problems printing convex material on our Mutoh Valuejet.
I have been given the profile for it for our Wasatch RIP but the colours are very washed out.
I have found this is the only profile that will not allow me to change anything in the RIP.
I have used other homemade profiles using a secomd overprint but this now is a lttle to dense in all the colours.
Has anyone had any luck printing to this material on a valuejet?

It prints great if you create your own profiles. Using the canned ones is always a crap shoot.
