Problems with output from Mimaki JV33

I am working with a local artist trying to reproduce his original watercolors into prints on canvas.

The problem comes when trying to print to canvas the final print is "OFF COLOR" from what we can seeon the screen.
Is there a reasonable way to correct this so that I can provide great looking prints to this an future clients?

Short of color correcting the entire system, what can I do?

Have you tried to change your ICC profile to match the material you are using.
