Problems with white ink on Roland LG-540

I like our UV LEC2/640 - it print's just perfect in smallest details and have cartridges (but has some problems with cutting straight above 2m in feed) in configuration CMYKWhGlOrGr

Those LG runs on pouches, like our true vis witch lives life he imagine (like it's on machine logo written IMAGINE - ROLAND) one day won't print some colors at all, different day it prints perfect but so slowly, another day it can't see ink pouches, different day it turns on with red ring of dead and we need to take it from second floor to first where it likes to turn on, and then back ....
another one it thinks that all head cables are dead and no go ... and so on and on....

Got your LG latest firmwares installed from download Roland DG ? Does it have INK CIRCULATION in options enabled and it works ? (Circulates WH so it doesn't fires out of head something like water in light blue color because WH inks started to loose it's substance)

Hi,
maybe I am wrong or may be not...
We have similar results but on flatbed UV's printing on transparent / clear substrates (pvc/acrylic/glass/etc) and some films on roland lec2 too

How we got past problem - we haven't

Standart procedure while preparing substrate for print - take off protective film if it has any / apply isopropyl / apply primer / apply isopropyl and then print if it's not laser cut and material doesn't crack at cut-out edges after isopropyl (replace isopropyl with window polisher liquid)

But in result white ink applied as under base or above CMYK (let's say it's just text and has clear unprinted spaces in substrate) and text is printed always have small lines / cracks like on ice / small ink drips / or other lines inside / outside printed letters / numbers / pictures or else
In conclusion - it's static electricity messing up only white ink prints and you can't take it off of material no matter you do, so after print we need to apply some more additional work - take once again isopropyl and apply it on finished job, it washes all of those unneeded white ink elements out

On roland UV lec2 have had some clear roll materials (for cars) where print just doesn't cure so after print you can smear all inks just by hand
Sometimes if you just need to print on what u just can't just because it won't cure but you just need - slow down printer scan direction speed thru versaworks to minimum, put uv lamp strength near maximum in versa and go unidirectional with lowest possible head height so printer has more time for curing ink

And finally always check substrate if it doesn't have additional transparent safety film applied above coating so it doesn't scratch
have had some issues

Or may be your printer needs just some calibration thru service menu like media feed / gap + head nozle alignment for each color in uni / bi dir / vertical - to be sure everything fires out of printhead where it should be
And if you use at winter electrical heaters around printer / substrates - place them somewhere else
