Random print with Roland

Hello everyone, I'm having problems with printing on my Roland SP-540i, I replaced the cables from the head (short), it only happens on yellow. Any suggestions on what to do next?

Sometimes it works without any problems, and sometimes it's impossible to print anything without yellow lines

This looks very much like what we call block printing that has happened in the VS models. I have never seen it happen in any other model. It is generally related to the long cables from the print carriage board back to the main board.
However, what you might want to try first is swapping the heads and see if the problem follows the head.
Being it is a SP and an old printer it probably has many hours on it. My gut feeling is it will end up being the long cables.
