Reading the Printed Barcode on Reflective

We have printed a whole lot of decals on 3M Reflective Wrap.

When we try to cut it on the HP 64in Cutter it can't read the barcode
and gives the message Barcode not found.

Does anybody have a solution for this?

There's bunch of threads about it. You can try to calibrate the material, scotchs tape or yellow filter on the OPOS.

Bottom line tho, don't use the barcode. Send the file and only, only use the square marks. You might keep your sanity.

Print and Class 2 Reflective Material

Agree with blast. Try a matte lam or something transparent that won’t reflect.

I have an S80600 with white ink, so I created a Caldera profile (specifically for these films) to print white around the reg marks. It's not very opaque with low pass printing, but it dulls/covers the shine just enough that my Summa can read the marks. (I don't mind the extra cost of printing simply because I rarely use white)
