My mother in-law gave me an office computer which is in good shape but there are a bunch of windows fonts missing. Does anyone know where I can find them on the XP cd or possibly get them all off the web. I am searching the cd and no luck yet. Thanks for your time and knowledge.

Of course, I buy fonts like most women buy shoes....

From what I recall, most of the files on the XP cd are compressed. So, finding them will be a challenge.
However, if you just reinstall the windows software without reformatting the HD, you should be fine and the fonts should reinstall themselves.

Yes! They are on the CD, NO! finding them is not a challange.

Its so easy that im shocked any one would say that. Mr Google has pages of reinstalling wondows system fonts and regular fonts.
