recycling plastic is a joke unfortunately, your best bet is reusing what you can. most recycled materials are thrown away unless perfectly sorted

imho, best option is a reuseable panel
we worked for a real estate company for a long time and we suggested we build them reuseable MDO kits & panels on the front-end, and then they simply pay us to remove/re-install as needed with optional regraphic overlays.
(four 4x4's, some bolts, rebar/sandbags, and a 4x4 or 4x8 primed&painted MDO, just one kit saw maybe 30 installations on its own over a decade and only a couple of regraphics)
golf outings, we still use coroplast because the stakes are stupid cheap&simple BUT we request they collect and repackage everything immediately after the event and we store & regraphic for them every year.
we still regraphic church event banners that we originally made in the 90's and just have to peel&stick new dates on the bottom because they're only up for a month on a fence and then neatly stored.
however, what to do with all this plastic? I'm all for giving it to this guy

For most shops, Coroplast will be your greenest option. Poly-coated cardboard is a less expensive option (about 75% initial cost), and are usually 22" x 28 fold-over designs to attach to a wire stake. The plastic in the cardboard, however, renders the product un-recycleable, and the production of this material leaves a larger carbon footprint.
Rather than bundling coroplast waste and transporting materials to a recycling facility, a more effective way to offset the carbon impact would be to purchase carbon credits (better for the environment and your wallet). Poly-coated cardboard signs offset with appropriate carbon credits would be the most economical and environmentally friendly option for volume producers who desire to lower their carbon footprint.
