Roland Eco-Sol Max 220cc Carts.

Based on supply it looks like Roland may be going to discontinue Eco-Sol Max inks. Is this what you guys are seeing. I have always stuck with the Roland brand so if I have to go with a different brand ink what seems to be the suggested safe alternative. Thanks

Has Roland stop selling the Eco-Sol max carts or are they just hard to get. I noticed you are no longer selling them?
That I do not know. We don't anymore mostly because we aren't an official Roland dealer and it was becoming hard to source at a feasible price.

we are a very low volume shop
we had used grimco house brand inks for a while then bought the bulk ink kit that premier colour sells for our series machine (sc545-ex)

Where are you getting your information from? Right now Roland is trying to catch up from switching their computer system over and they have a backlog of about 400 orders As of today. This is why you may not be able to get ink from them right now. We have plenty in stock. Can you tell me where you heard this?

I have customers that use jet best. It is the cheapest of the cheap. If you print every day and use your printer, you should not have problems. But also make sure that you do your maintenance and replace the proper consumables when they need to be replaced.

I don't want to call any names because they have been super good to me over the years. Mine uses the Eco-Sol Max carts and on my machine they stick out the back which makes using 440cc carts worries me so I have stuck with 220cc as there are two of each color it has worked fine. But the company I have always bought from talked like they was phasing out the ink I use. So in case i need to find some do you have a website that I can purchase from?

We've been using Jet Best also for 10 years with their bulk ink system. Always works great and good color gamut. On Roland RS-640.
