I'm having a problem with Ghosting. Has anyone seen the issue before?

I've seen that occur in very low humidity print rooms (below 25 percent rh). The dry air can cause electrostatically induced firing of ink, and static discharge causes the ink to be drawn to the media.

Looks like a bi-dir calibration is needed as well as a calibration via service mode.

Have you tried cleaning the eye of possible over spray / dirt?

Electrostatic or bi-dir Calibration & feed calibration or Encoder Strip (not likely)

Thank you for your suggestions, I do live in a very dry climate. I'm going to clean the strip and the eye and look into adding a little humidity.
