Roland Suppliers for Maintenance Parts

I usually always buy aftermarket maintenance parts but lately I have had problems with air getting in to the ink lines of older printers when using the aftermarket parts like DX4 Dampers and DX4 Cap-Tops for Roland SP-540V, Roland VP-540 and XC-540 Models. I have looked closely at the parts I have been receiving and they are slightly off compared to the originals. The dampers don’t hold their pressure as much and the cap top rubber gasket isn’t as tall and wide as the original. I’m trying to source good aftermarket DX4 Dampers and DX4 Cap-Tops that are good quality and work as good as the original.

Can anyone suggest a good aftermarket supplier or if aftermarket parts for these older models just don’t do the job anymore where I can buy original OEM DX4 Dampers and original OEM DX4 Cap-Tops for the older models?

as a rule of thumb, only the originals work "as good as the originals"
you learn what aftermarket is tolerable and what isn't

you never go wrong with solventinkjet or premiercolour
in a hurry i use tyrreltech (i am only an hour or so away from their flemington office)

How about a little bit of warehouse space and someone to do fulfillment? I used to do something similar for some guys based in south america and it worked out well for everyone for a while.

Yeah, that's exactly what I'm thinking. It doesn't have to be in a great location, and it doesn't need to be a big space at the beginning. As long as it's safe, that's fine. I think that would be cheaper. Then I could have someone there to receive and ship packages for me. About how much do you think that would cost?

All printheads are original and genuine-10 times refund if fake. I tell all my customers: if you buy a fake or get the wrong item from me, just go and expose me on all my social media.
As for other parts like ink dampers and cap tops, we have both original ones and Chinese-made ones. I will recommend them to you based on my experience. Some things can use compatible replacements, but some things cannot.
For example, flat cables I feel like there is no difference at all, but the price difference is huge. However, for some printheads, you cannot use fake dampers or cap tops. My customers told me they don't last long and sometimes don't work well. Sometimes, I will give customers some samples to test out.....

For Roland machines, I usually just recommend buying original dampers and cap tops. But since the machines are very old now, it seems like many customers' love for their machines has disappeared~~ They specifically look for compatible products because they don't want to invest more money in an old machine. Usually, they just have the mindset of 'every extra day it runs is a bonus.' Yes, the price difference is huge---about 6 times different. I suggest you buy an original one, and at the same time, buy a compatible version to try it out. Then you can feel for yourself which one suits you better.
