Roland VS-420 or Mimaki CJV30-130

What are your thoughts on a VS-420 versus a CJV30-130? My company is looking to expand our printing capabilities for sign-making. We are considering printing on vinyl, mounting on aluminum and laminating since the signs will be used outdoors in harsh chemical environments. Is there a noticeable difference in print quality, ease of operation, etc.?
