SO what is the best underlayment for routing

we have a Summa F1612 and need a new milling mat.

is there anything thats better then the OEM roll?

For routing it depends on what you are doing. Usually the milling mat is mean to be consumable. Are you using high friction mats? those are soft and wear out fast. if it is similar to the conveyor section 3mm-8mm (depending on what you buy) that is usually the best one. Colex has some cheap green mats. Gerber MCT Cutguru has some decent standard ones. Some people use milled mdf or pvc with holes.
