Suggestions sc-540 grinding noise & error 0010 0010

hello,
I need some help! Our sc-540 is making a grinding noise (seemingly coming from the cut cartridge) that grows louder during a print. The printer will sometimes finish the print but other times have the error 0010 0010 and require a reboot with limited initialization to turn back on.

I'm hoping there a simple clean or fix!! any ideas?

you need to lubricate the linear rail along with the carriage

If you're hearing grinding, you are probably past an easy fix. Likely the rail bearing packs are shot and the bearings inside have destroyed the bearing chain.
