I am setting up a new main design computer (my daughters, she is officially
the head design person) and while loading all the programs and crap that we
need to do business I ran across the invoice for a computer purchased on
12.27.2000- by the time it was set up the hardware cost was $2600. It was
a stormer- Pentium III with 256 meg of RAM. The new computer is a Core2duo
3.00 gig with 2.99 gig of ram- DVD, DVD+-RW. FLOPPIE, and add-on vid card-
which set me back.....$389 (scratch and dent). The first .5 gig harddrive I
bought (more years ago than I like to think about) was over $500. Times
change.
