They don't say that anymore. The new thinking is any alcohol is poisonous, and I think I agree with it.
It always was, some more than others. Depend on how it breaks down in the system. More likely, it depends on who sponsored the testing as well. That's why I have a dim view of some of this stuff. Usually there are outcomes already pre-determined and in order to get the full remittance, a certain outcome has to be concluded.

Some people go by the nature that alcohol can change behaviours, considering we are talking about chemical reactions, that can happen with anything that hasn't been deemed quite as poisonous as well. When I was doing equine competitions, depending on if we wanted them to be more active/aggressive with the competition or more relaxed depends on how early or late we would feed them before a show. All has to do with chemical reactions and the associated behaviours as well.

started at 17 putting blockout primer on MDo followed with Sherman Williams bulletin color
Painted red lead on angle iron and enamel on cabinets, sprayed acrylic faces with lack paints and then hand painted signs for years and gold leaf on glass. Screen printed for years with enamel inks vinyl inks epoxy inks and cleaned screens with acetone and xylol. Lived with a solvent printer for at least 10 years.
Had a stoke at 68 years old and another one in January. I am now 77 and see the neurologist who says I have brain damage from plaque blasting through my carotid artery and hitting brain which affects the left side of body. Go to gym every day and lift weights along with gym machines. Also walk up to 5 miles a day and have complete mobility on my left side. I am 98% Irish according to my DNA, Iif someone tells me I have a problem I would beat the shit out of them.
You can retrain the brain to do what was damaged.
Oh and almost forgot, my mother passed from ALC, she was not a sign person

I problem may actually still exist, it depends on if you were to stop doing what you are doing, how far does the regression go?

Alzheimer's runs very high genetically in my family, both sides. My mom and dad has already past the age that it manifested in most of our family mainly due to the fact that they do things that work their mind, eat right (for the most part) and work out(most got it in their 70s, and my parents are in their 80s). Now the question becomes, if they stop doing that, what would the regression be? Doesn't mean that the problem doesn't still exist or is still a threat.

I can't remember where I read it, but if I'm remember correctly the quote was: "Working out extends one's life by 2-3 yrs, but improves the quality of life by up to 10 yrs".

I don't think anyone is saying that it's exclusive, nor does it actually mean that someone that has done these things, that they will get it. It's more about increasing the odds of something that will happen. Just like someone may have the genetic markers for something, if they don't do anything that triggers them (if they require an external trigger), it may never manifest itself.

I like making signs
My family had a painting and decorating company from 1905 to the 1980's. They all painted with lead paint, scraped it, etc. and smoked pipes. All lived long healthy lives.

I saw a show on Parkinsons where they gave the guy a joint and the tremors went away while he was high.
