Just Me
I bought a used Encad that we planned on using for paper output and proofs. As those that know the machine may guess I am not too happy with the quality. So.. instead of a $500 paperweight I am looking at getting a software RIP to drive it. BTW - thanks John for your help in getting it set-up - you may have some input for me here.
I have 2 questions:
1. If I buy a RIP will it drastically change the color quality that I see now? I can't even use it for proofing at this point it is so off. Majority of prints will come from Illustrator or Photoshop 7
2. What RIP would you recommend? I am looking at Vinyl Master Pro Future RIP SE http://www.vinylmasterpro.com/united_states/frip_details.htm any thoughts or comments?
