State Vendor requirements

That is very very often not true..... About 60% of my work is for government. We are often the highest bidder. If the agency is responsible they a weighted system to evaluate bids based on multiple factors with price only being maybe 25% of the weight. Experience (both in time and as well as in handling similar projects), locality, proposal itself, terms, etc should also be key deciding factors. Also helps to be aware of agencies and knowing if they have something planned to offer a free consultation on specifying materials and whatnot as well so that an RFQ/RFP is not just asking for "premium vinyl" when it should be specific and they need to understand the differences. Like some Chinese cast vinyl is not really comparable to 3M 180 cast vinyl, etc.

More on topic. Yeah have seen some unusual requirements but nothing on boycotts. lol As a business, I do not make public opinions on anything political or potentially controversial. I like everyones money.
We do government jobs often. Nothing big, biggest requirement is specifying a particular product but only after they inquire for prices.

Here's another set of stipulations, and if you're so inclined to not adhere to them, the extortion fee to still do business...
Also, list all contracts you've lost, and the reason why... this area is optional.

I'd love to see how any of this is enforcable.
One of those has been on the books since 2017, so it's been awhile. Also due to dealing with "commercial conduct" and not necessarily free speech, it is able to pass muster (at least so far and until it's challenge, it will be deemed good (just like a lot of laws/contracts, requires a challenge).

From what I can tell, non compliance seems to be contract termination and no future contracts. While some of those may be strange stipulations, what appears to be penalties aren't really all that outlandish. So I don't know, doubt that it will fail anytime soon.

I guess maybe I meant "provable". How can boycotting Israel be proven, unless you are super vocal about it?

It would be thru socials and a lot of people use socials as their diary. Probably very easy given the divide that we are seeing now and if people are at the boycott Israel stage, they are really at that stage I have found.

Or setup a deal that it appears or is related to Israel to see how one conducts themselves.
