Maybe you'd find a better deal with projector screen hardware.
8ftx8ft is a standard for backdrop hardware which isn't retractable usually but if you use like a dyesub fabric print you can pack it way more compact. An 8ft retractable is always going to be a cumbersome >8ft tube, which is expensive to travel with or ship, and limits what kind of vehicle you can use too. Kind of defeats the purpose if they want something rapidly deployable due to traveling trade shows or whatnot, and if they dont need to rapidly deploy it, why go retractable? Also it's hard enough retracting a 30x75 retractable into its stand properly without skew. I'm trying to picture doing one that's 8ftx8ft, taller than most people can reach without a stepstool, wider than their wingspan. That's a two-person job with two stepstools and maybe a third person guiding them.
