I ran across this article today from Avery. They know a few things about adhesive materials, and this is their opinion.

As long as they pay on time they can call them whatever the hell they want!

Now you can go on twitch and watch the endless seinfeld being created by a robot on the fly... and it's terrifying!

stencils, peel offs, rub ons, transfers. are all terms I've heard customers use when they wanted stickers or decals

IMHO sticker is what someone calls a label or a decal who has no respect for the effort it took to make it.
