Our Summa D140RL has been working fine until I decided to slow down the up/down acceleration via Cutter Control, which I've done in the past with no issues. However, after changing the parameters I found that it wouldn't read the registration marks at all anymore. It would keep circling around in a square pattern. I changed the parameters back to AUTO but it still could not find the marks. I thought it might be something to do with Onyx, but I performed an opos calibration directly on the machine and it did the same thing, it would just move around the square quickly and didn't do any calibrating like it usually does.
I've tried resetting everything, restoring from a backup, cleaning the media sensor , etc and nothing has helped. I've booted Cutter Control into service mode but don't want to muck with any of the settings as I have no clue what they're for.
Hoping someone might be able to shed some light on why this suddenly happened. Is the sensor shot?
Thanks,
Scott
