My wife and I decided to participate in the Susan G. Komen 3-day walk for the cure (Breast Cancer) in Dallas in November. It has affected quite a few people close to home recently. We have to each raise $2300 in order to participate so while discussing how to raise the funds for the foundation we thought about wrapping my motorcycle. We had planned on wrapping it anyway with our company logo and theme.
We have a booth at the Dallas Home Improvement show this weekend and were going to have the bike on display anyway.
This would be an ideal way to create awareness for the Susan G. Komen 3-day. We also decided to wrap a small refrigerator with the same theme and give it away at the show.
The bike is a Suzuki M109R Boulevard and is now refered to as the Pink Boulevard. pinkboulevard.com has been secured and will be up after the show. I will burning the midnight oil over the next couple of days to get it ready for the weekend.
This is a fun project for a good cause. I have to ride around on a pink bike (true test of my manhood!).
Here are couple of pics of the refrigerator....will post the bike when I am done (at least the tank is finished...)
