Need Help Switching From ClearColor R-2000 Solvent Ink To Rite-media ink, do we need to flush?

We were thinking about switching out our 3-party ClearColor R-2000 Solvent Inks to 3 party Rite-media ink.

My questions is do we need to flush the lines/ run cleaning cartridges or can we "plug n' play" with the new ink?

Roland SOLJET pro III xj-740
Roland sp-540v

Never heard of ClearColor or Rite-Media. Stay with mainstream - Jetbest.

Hey customsigncraft! I realize this is a nearly 6yo post, but just wondering whether you did end up switching to Rite-Media ink and, if so, what was your experience with it like?

Nothing wrong with most of the third party inks sold by distributors.

I've used Marabu and Rite Media, and even interchanged them without any issues

we have gotten jetbest from premier for about 3-4 years

Nothing wrong with most of the third party inks sold by distributors.

i have seen lots of times where the changeover isn't a problem, but, sometimes one of the inks congeals& it 's too late to do anything about it

jetbest is compatible with roland


if nothing else, if you are going to go ahead, take some of the old ink & put a dropper of the new ink into it & see how it reacts
