Hi everyone. Im having a problem on my test print here on my Roland SC545ex. Concerned on how my cyan test print looks like. Had a couple of headstrikes from banners recently. Is this a bad print head already? BTW the head is i think not even over 6 months. Thanks all.

that "bent" pattern is always as sign, for me, that the head will never return. it's an electrical problem from what i've best figured. some jets are firing early.

a shock from a head crash can cause electrical damage. i've seen this bent pattern come and go on a head. which, in my case, ruled against physical nozzle damage. this may be different in your case. but for me that bent pattern means that the heads are firing out of sequence.

I see. Good point. Might be. Had some headstrikes with banners lately and there was one time that i had a hard time pulling or to separate the crumpled media from the heads.

Okay ill try soaking it with cleaning sol on the caps. Haven't tried it yet but ive heard that before.
Thanks for the replies.

Soaking was not able to help. Cant think of anything else to do with this. Tried unplugging and plugging back again the flex cables but didnt made any difference as well.
