"The DJ Corner"

Buddy of mine is a DJ, also is running a corner of his family's electronics store, and calling it "The DJ Corner".

I've ran thru like 15 rough designs for the logo, but none of them are really working, unfortunately we're deisgning around an existing sign which happens to be 4' x 4'.

Mine have typical DJ logo styles, like the styled headphones into various letters, turntables/records, and curvy stylized letters, but none are hitting it out of the park, and it's for a friend, so I wanna show off a little

Any ideas for this?

Here's a layout for a small coro poster I did for a local guy
(using clip art)
That's all I got.
Of course, if you're doing a logo, you shouldn't use clip art but something you drew up yourself.
