I outsource all my printing and bundle orders together on nested sheets. Sometimes the mix of designs/messages makes me chuckle, and I wonder how those on the receiving end handle it. I'll take pretty much any work that comes through my door provided it's profitable and not profane. Decals for stripper product displays, "Jesus Rapture" banners along with rainbow Pride banners (probably ending up at the same event), competing political signs, and the random odd thing I throw in for personal projects. Sometimes all together in one order.

Anyone here gotten files from a customer that spawned jokes/comments throughout the departments, or ended up as a memento on a break room wall somewhere? Ever outsourced a job and got a call from your sales rep asking "WTF?" once art files were submitted? The employees at S365 or 4Over must see so much crap that nothing fazes them. I once worked at a commercial printer and we took in an order to print a calendar of female nudes. It was tasteful and artistic, not porn-y in any way, but the owner walked by and saw what we were printing and flipped out, told us to call the customer and cancel the job.

Back in my sign shop days my boss took a job from a guy who wanted a life sized pinup print of his girlfriend on his motorcycle. For reasons I'm sure you can infer, it was printed after hours. :D

I got this one to print today, now I know what a swamp booger is. might have nightmares

Learn something new today

Swamp Boogers, also known as Assquatch, are taxidermy pieces made from the buttocks of an animal, which is leftover after the head as been mounted. This is a means of using more of the animal in taxidermy, adding eyes and mouths to the buttocks, creating bizarre-looking creatures for humorous effect.

We get some weird stuff, questionable banners etc. but most of the time, we dont pay too much attention to the artwork. as long as it has the right bleeds etc, we print, cut and send.

I had a funny one once. Did some custom decals for a customers Harley. He was delighted with them and sent me some photos of the result which is quite common with bike owners when I do work for them.

A couple of normal ones of the bike showing both sides, one of him sitting on it, and a couple of his lady friend not wearing very much draped over it ( and she was no spring chicken ! )
