I have a keyed usb for the license, so I imagine it should work on a new system. Thanks for the help.What victor said. There are ways of recovering data from broken hard drives but I'd simply plug it into a new computer and see what happens first. Also, does Onyx have a way to transfer the license to new computer? Whenever I run into this issue with Rasterlink, we just deregister the license and reregister on the new computer. That is, if you still have your license code.
