Transporting XC 540 in cold weather 250 miles

Getting ready to go pickup my new XC 540 and transporting 250 miles.

Should I get some cleaning cartridges and run them through before transporting or Should I leave ink in the system and just lock the heads.

My plans are to take off stand and strap to a pallet. Just wondering if cleaning cartridges is my best bet. My 540v manual said to flush the system.

To clear things up new to me not brand new!! Demo model and has ink installed.

I would flush the system at use the locking bar on the head carriage. I would also find some way to keep the printer warm. Going from the cold to a heated shop will cause condensation on the electronics then the real fun begins.

Rent a regular 1/2 ton van. You can thank me later.
