Thanks. I have just a few more.....

When you are in the center of any of the bigger cities in Italy there are no new buildings, everything is at least a 100 years old. Love some of the dodgy elevator retrofits installed in a few places we stayed.

I recently went to Phoenix, does that count? Not gonna lie, I loved it there. I can see why so many snowbirds go there to skip our crappy cold Canadian winters.

I was just there too! LOVED it! Went with my son last year on a "one off vaca" to watch Wild West Shootout races in NM and liked the area so much we went back this year to Phoenix for them. Did you go to the Phoenix Botanical Garden? We did that (so awesome), headed to the Grand Canyon for a couple days then hit the racetrack. I'd like to go back again next year and see some ghost towns. And yes - much better than our Wisconsin/Canadian cold weather!

Sure! I've never been to Phoenix, but last fall took a road trip to Vegas. We were in Arizona for 5 minutes! Saw some beautiful landscapes on our trip. I'll see If I can post some pics. I need to get them off my camera.

i didn't know phoenix had a botanical garden... i figured the desert and all but maybe it's full of desert plants?
