Did you notice that on the other 330 machine you have installed, it wakes up every 20 minutes after being powered off? Just want to check if other machine doing sameThe 330 wakes up more than older models, yes. Do I own one? No. But I work on them multiple times a month and have done everything from installs to head swaps.
Your ink configurations is CMYKWWClCl ?Mine does a refresh every 24hrs. That takes like 20mins to go through....the other one I think it's just shooting some ink through the heads. Lasts for a minute or two and turns off again
Yes it is. Occasionally it will refresh during the day but I it's so infrequent when it happens. It's more annoying that when it's on after about 10-15mins that it goes into circulation. (can cancel it, but still annoying)Your ink configurations is CMYKWWClCl ?
JukiDoes anyone here actually have the UCJV330 to double check, or are these just guesses?
I’m not talking about refreshing, circulation, or periodic cleaning-those are settings you can adjust on the machine.
This is something you can’t change, and there’s no mention of it in the manual or machine settings. When the machine wakes up every 20 minutes, it only performs a capping re-seat - nothing else.
Regarding white ink, it’s not as scary as some people think. I have an older 3042FX, and it’s been perfect-even after being left off for 2–3 weeks and its without white ink circulation![]()
Besides refreshing, white circulation, and self-cleaning, my machine wakes up every 20 minutes for about 20 seconds. Mimaki Japan confirmed this is normal, as it checks the temperature. It seems unusual, but we’ll see over time whether it causes any issues. The older 3042FX has been running reliably for years, whereas the 330 has been problematic from the beginning ;/Yes it is. The white in the 3042fx LH100 - regular shake, regular white print, 5min Nozzle wash at finish of the day print - that's the secret.Juki
i think your setup is the outlier if you have never had problems with white ink
just the absurd amount of solids in suspension is trouble looking for a place to happen & if you tell the truth you are probably not happy with the white (you would prefer more density)
