I do a bit of work for UPRR... I'll go through all of my stuff and see if I have any templates and patterns for the train cars.

what year do you think the car was built in??? you may not find it as a font......but in old lettering books....a lot of that plain block was........based on helvetica, but each painter, and the size of the space he had to put the lettering........no 2 were identical))))

Brings back memories of a small depot that I did all the original signs for the depot and the caboose. This is the last one that I hand painted. Found some black and white photos that I blew up, traced the lettering, pounced and painted along with the building signs. Used 1-shot lettering enamel and it didn't last that long here in the Florida sun.
